Ingredients:  Serves 2-3

 

(Abbreviations: C = cup, tsp. = teaspoon, T= tablespoon, lb = pound, oz.= ounces, pkg = package, pt. = pint, qt. = quart)

 

  • 1 cup of Alpine Fresh blueberries 

  • 1 (8 or 12 oz) container plain yogurt

  • 3/4 cup 2% reduced-fat milk

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1/2 - 1 Cup of ice

Directions:

 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender. 

  2. Blend for 1 minutes or until smooth.

  3. Serve and Enjoy!

 

            COOKING TIP: Freezing the yogurt will allow you to use               less ice and create a creamier smoothie. Fat-Free frozen             yogurt can also be used.

  • 1 tablespoon of honey

  • 1/2 - 1 Cup of ice
